How many dice can I roll?

You can roll from 1 to 12 dice at once, and each die can have anywhere from 2 to 100 sides. The default is two six-sided dice.

Why support more than six sides?

Many tabletop games use dice like d8, d10, d12 and d20. This tool supports all of them and even unusual dice like a 100-sided d100.

What is shown after a roll?

The latest roll appears as large dice with each result, followed by the total. The last runs are listed in a history table so you can retell a lucky moment.

Is the random result fair?

Results come from the browser's Math.random engine, which is random enough for games and tests. Each side of a die has an equal chance of appearing.

Can I use it for RPGs?

Yes. Set the number of dice and sides your character sheet needs, roll once and read the total. No setup, dice or download required.
