How does the flip work?

Each press of Flip produces heads or tails with a 50% chance for each, just like a real coin. The sides are picked instantly by the browser.

What statistics are tracked?

The tool counts how many times heads and tails have appeared and shows your longest run — the most consecutive flips landing on the same side.

Why show the history?

The last throws are displayed as small chips so you can review a decision or double-check that a coin really came up fair over several flips.

Where is a coin flip useful?

• Settling a tie or deciding who goes first.

• Teaching probability with real trial counts.

Is it really random?

Yes — each flip is independent and has an equal chance either way. Over many flips the counts should stay close to balanced.
